It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted any news onto the site. 2017 is already almost halfway over. It’s been a weird ride consisting of experiences that have been fluctuating between the good and the bad. Failed projects, meeting new people, learning experiences and so forth. As of late, I’ve been working on Nokori Ware’s Robot Farm soundtrack and am currently a little over halfway finished! The music has been progressing since I started last September. I honestly feel very fortunate to have come across this project, as I believe I’ve written some of my best work to date.
This body of work portrays a sense of why I wanted to write for video games. Ever since I was a child, many of the games I grew up with really left a lasting impression on me. To this day, Nobuo Uematsu’s Final Fantasy VI – Terra’s theme is embedded deeply into my memories. Simply listening to that song really brings forth such strong nostalgia of my childhood and really inspired me to work towards music in video games. What I strive forth in terms of my goal in video game music, besides helping to create the environment and story of the game itself, is to really inspire people. I can only hope the music that I write really pushes someone to pursue a creative outlet, or simply to strive towards their own goals. That to me would show that the music that I have put much of my sincerity into has been able to reach people. I can only hope.
I genuinely cannot wait to release the Robot Farm soundtrack. It has been a really good experience so far working with Nokori Ware. Beyond this, I really hope that once the soundtrack is released, it will be accepted by you, the listener. Thanks for reading.
